John Scarpulla

John Scarpulla was the Lead Tenor Sax player with Tower of Power from early 1996 through the end of 1997, appearing on the Rhythm & Business CD.

East Coast fan's can check him out performing with the Funk Filharmonik on Long Island and in New York City.

Born in Jamaica, New York - 11/7/62

Musical Training: Berklee College of Music (Boston); Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Saxophone Performance

Instruments played: Tenor, Alto, Baritone, Soprano, "C" Melody, Straight Alto Saxes; B flat, Alto and Bass Clarinets, flute and piccolo.
