Marc Russo was Tower of Power's lead tenor saxophonist during the early to mid-80's. Russo was a featured member of the horn section in much of its work with Huey Lewis and the News as well as other projects. Mark had never been on a Tower of Power release until the 1999 release, Dinosaur Tracks, recorded in the early 80's.

Mark had a stint of several CD's with the Yellow Jackets. More recently, Russo has been featured with Kenny Loggins and The Doobie Brothers.
